These Terms & Conditions apply to music services provided by Ivan Christie, including guitar tuition, recording, music production, musical arrangement and technical studio services.
By booking or using a music service, you agree to these terms.
1. Music Services
Services may include:

Musical arrangement

Guitar and instrumental contributions

Studio services

Technical engineering and recording support

Gospel music support

Other agreed music-related services
The specific service, requirements, timescale and price will be agreed before work begins.
2. Bookings
A booking is confirmed once the required booking information and, where applicable, payment or deposit have been received.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate contact information and arriving or being available at the agreed time.
3. Payments and Deposits
Prices and payment arrangements will be confirmed before the service or project begins.
Where a deposit is required, this will be explained at the time of booking.
For larger recording or production projects, payment arrangements may be agreed in stages.
4. Recording and Studio Sessions
Clients are expected to attend at the agreed time and be prepared for the booked session.
Studio time is reserved specifically for the client. Late arrival may reduce the available working time.
Where additional studio time is required, this may be subject to an additional charge agreed with the client.
5. Music Production & Arrangement
Production and arrangement projects will be discussed with the client before work begins.
The agreed project may include development of musical ideas, recording, arrangement, instrumental contributions, production and other agreed services.
Additional work requested after the agreed project scope may require a revised quotation or additional payment.
6. Changes and Revisions
Reasonable changes may be discussed during a project.
Where substantial changes require additional work beyond the original agreement, the additional work and any associated cost will be discussed before proceeding.
7. Client Materials
Clients remain responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate permission to use any music, lyrics, recordings, samples, images or other material they provide.
Ivan Christie does not accept responsibility for copyright disputes arising from material supplied by a client.
8. Intellectual Property and Copyright
Ownership of music, lyrics, recordings, arrangements, production work and other creative material will depend on what has been agreed for the particular project.
Where ownership or usage rights are important to a project, these should be agreed in writing before the work is completed.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, providing a music service does not automatically transfer ownership of all underlying creative or production material.
9. Use of Completed Work
Clients may only use, release, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit completed work in accordance with the ownership and usage arrangements agreed for the project.
Where appropriate, credits for production, arrangement, recording, musicianship or technical work should be acknowledged as agreed.
10. Professional Conduct
Everyone involved is expected to treat others with respect and professionalism.
Bullying, harassment, threatening behaviour or inappropriate conduct will not be accepted.
A service may be ended where serious conduct or safety concerns arise.
11. Cancellation and Rescheduling
The separate Music Services Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to cancellations, refunds and rescheduling.
12. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated when necessary. The current version will be made available on the website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
